What operative profiles are for
An operative profile links an employee record to their trades, certifications, and availability. This information is used when allocating people to Work Packages — you can see at a glance who is qualified for a task and whether they are available.
Viewing operatives
Navigate to Settings > Labour > Operatives. The table lists all operative profiles in your company.
Creating an operative profile
- 1
Click Add Operative in the top-right corner.
- 2
In the dialog, select an Employee to create the profile for. This links the operative to an existing employee record.
- 3
Assign their trades, certifications, and any other relevant details.
- 4
Click Create to save the profile.
An employee must already exist in the Employees list before you can create an operative profile for them.
Deleting operatives
Select one or more operatives using the row checkboxes, then use the bulk delete option. You can also delete individual operatives from the table.
Deleting an operative profile does not delete the underlying employee record. It only removes the operative's trade and certification associations.
