What subcontractor types are for
Subcontractor types let you classify your subcontractors by trade or discipline — for example, "Electrical", "Mechanical", "Scaffolding", or "Groundworks". These categories help you filter and organise your subcontractor list.
Viewing subcontractor types
Navigate to Settings > Subcontractor > Types. The table lists all types with their name and status.
Creating a subcontractor type

Click Create Type in the top-right corner.

Enter a Subcontractor Type name — for example,
Plastering. - 3
Optionally tick Continue Adding Items to keep the form open after saving, allowing you to add multiple types in quick succession.

Click Create to save.
Archiving and restoring
Click Archive on a row to hide the type from active lists. Enable Show Archived and click Unarchive to restore.
