What custom fields are for
Custom fields let you capture additional data on Work Packages and sub-packages beyond the standard fields. If your workflow requires tracking information that Project Commander does not include by default — for example, a permit number, a risk rating, or a client reference — you can create a custom field for it.
Viewing custom fields
Navigate to Settings > Data > Custom Fields. The page displays all configured custom fields as cards, each showing the field name, type, and scope.
Creating a custom field
- 1
Click Add Custom Field in the top-right corner.
- 2

Editing and deleting custom fields
Click Edit on a field card to update its configuration, or Delete to remove it entirely.
