The subcontractor modules
The subcontractor section mirrors the main Contract Management workflow but tracks the financial relationship between you and your subcontractors — rather than between you and the client.
How the modules connect
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Subcontractor Orders | Raise orders to subcontractors for work on a project |
| Subcontractor Variations | Record scope changes to a Subcontractor Order |
| Subcontractor Applications | Receive and manage payment claims from subcontractors |
| Subcontractor Invoices | Track Invoices received from subcontractors |
| Subcontractor Payment Notices | Issue payment certificates to subcontractors |
The typical flow is: Orders → Applications → Payment Notices, with Variations and Invoices handled as needed.
Subcontractor modules use the same entity permissions as their counterparts. For example, Subcontractor Orders require the Purchase Orders permission, and Subcontractor Applications require the Applications permission.
