Overview
The Status column on the Amend Job screen lets you track the progress of each tender at a glance. You can assign a status to every job, update it as the project moves forward, and filter the job list by status to focus on what matters.
Setting a job status

Click the status cell next to the job you want to update.

Choose the appropriate status from the drop-down menu.
The change is applied live on screen, so you can see the updated status immediately without needing to refresh or save.
Available statuses
The status list is customisable to fit your business requirements. Common examples include:
- Enquiry — a new enquiry has been received.
- Won — the tender has been awarded.
- On Hold — the project is paused or awaiting a decision.
- Follow Up — the tender needs chasing.
- Deferred — the project has been postponed.
Your administrator can configure the available options in Tools > System Preferences.
Filtering by status
You can filter the job list by status to focus on specific groups of tenders. This is particularly useful when you have a large number of jobs and need to see only those at a certain stage — for example, viewing all jobs marked as "Follow Up" to identify which tenders need chasing.
