Adding a note to a section

Click on the section in the estimate tree to select it.

Right-click the selected section to open the context menu.

Choose Section Notes from the options available.

Type your notes into the text input dialogue that appears.

Press the Exit button to save your notes and close the dialogue.
Identifying sections with notes
After saving, an information icon appears next to the section name in the tree. This provides a visual indicator that a note has been recorded against that section, making it easy to spot annotated sections at a glance.
Viewing and editing notes
To review or update an existing note, follow the same steps you used to create it:

Select the section that has the information icon.

Right-click and choose Section Notes.

The existing note text is displayed in the dialogue. Edit as needed, then press Exit to save your changes.
Section notes are useful for leaving reminders — for example, "awaiting supplier quote for cable tray" or "verify cable sizes with engineer". They are visible to anyone who opens the job.
