Section totals

You can view the current section's estimated values by looking at the four boxes in the bottom-right corner of the takeoff screen. These display the section's labour hours, labour cost, materials, and total.

Job totals

To view your entire job totals before running a calculation, use the abacus icon located at the bottom-left of the examine grid.

   Click the abacus icon at the bottom-left of the examine grid.

   A Totals window opens, showing your totals for all A-level sections.

Changing the grouping

You can change how the Totals window groups your figures using the drop-down menu at the top of the window.

The available grouping options are:

• A-level sections — displays totals broken down by each top-level section in your job.
• Cost codes — displays totals grouped by the cost codes assigned to your take-off items.
