Updating project details
You can edit a project at any time from its dashboard.
- 1
Open the project and click Update Project in the header bar.
- 2
The edit form opens with all current values pre-filled. Update any fields you need to change — project name, client, type, dates, markups, and so on.
- 3
Click Additional Info or Manage Markups to access the secondary dialogs, which work the same way as during project creation.
- 4
Click Update to save your changes.
All fields are optional in the edit form — you only need to change what you want to update. See Creating a Project for a full description of every field.
The project number cannot be changed after creation. If you need a different number, you will need to create a new project.
Changing the project status
Click the status button in the project header. A dropdown menu appears showing all available statuses. Select the new status to apply it immediately.
The status button is colour-coded to match the current status, giving you a visual indicator at a glance.
When a project is archived, the status button is disabled. You must unarchive the project before you can change its status.
Archiving a project
Archiving removes the project from active lists and dashboards without deleting it.
- 1
Open the project and click Archive Project in the header bar.
- 2
Confirm the action when prompted.
Archived projects are hidden from the project list by default. To see them, enable Show Archived in the project list view options.
Restoring an archived project
- 1
In the project list, enable Show Archived to reveal archived projects.
- 2
Open the archived project.
- 3
Click Unarchive (or use the update form) to restore it to active status.
