What the budgets page shows
The budgets page gives you a detailed breakdown of your project's financial position organised by cost code. It pulls data from across the project — Variations, Dayworks, Applications, Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices, and more — and presents it in a single table.
Viewing budgets
- 1
Open a project and click Budgets in the project sidebar.
- 2
The table loads with all budget data for the project. A spinner and the message "We are crunching the numbers... Please wait a moment." appears while the data is being calculated.
Budget table columns
The table displays financial data grouped by cost code:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Code | The cost code |
| Description | Description of the cost code or line item |
| Quantity | Quantity from the schedule of rates |
| Unit Rate | Rate per unit |
| Total Cost | Total cost for the line |
| Application Total | Total value claimed in Applications |

Use the Cost Code filter to narrow the table to a specific cost code.
