The Contract Management modules
Contract management covers the financial lifecycle between you and your client. It tracks changes to the contract scope, records work done, produces payment claims, and manages the invoicing process.
How the modules connect
| Module | Code | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Variations | VO | Record changes to the contract scope — additions, omissions, and re-pricing |
| Dayworks | DW | Track time-and-materials work outside the main contract |
| Applications | APP | Produce payment claims against completed work, Variations, and Dayworks |
| Payment Notices | PN | Issue formal payment notifications with MCD and retention deductions |
| Invoices | INV | Bill the client, with optional sync to Xero or Sage |
| Sales Credit Notes | SCN | Issue credits to the client when needed |
The typical flow is: Variations / Dayworks → Applications → Payment Notices → Invoices.
Each module is permission-gated. If a module appears with a lock icon in the project sidebar, your administrator has not granted you access. See Managing Permissions for details.
