Why check it
ZeroCount changes often, and a tool you used last month may have moved, gained an option or been replaced by something quicker. The Recent Updates window is the plain-English record of those changes, written for estimators rather than developers. Read it after each release before assuming a feature is missing.
Opening Recent Updates
- 1
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu.
- 2
Choose Recent Updates .
What it shows
The window is titled Recent Updates with the line "What's new and changed, most recent first". Below that, each release is a Version heading, such as Version 0.24.0, followed by a bullet list of what changed for users. Versions are listed newest first, so the block at the top is the release you are running now. Scroll down for older releases.
Entries are short and describe behaviour you can see: a renamed menu item, a new switch in preferences, a fix for something that used to go wrong. They do not list internal changes.
If no entries have been recorded the window reads "No updates have been recorded yet."
Finding your version number
The version is printed in the branding strip at the top of the sidebar, under Ensign ZeroCount, alongside your company name — for example Ensign Software · v0.24.0. The strip is visible on the Projects page and the project view; it is replaced by the marker sidebar once a drawing is open. Quote this number when you report a problem.
The update list is built into each release, so it changes only when a new version is deployed. If a colleague sees an entry you do not, reload the page to pick up the latest version.
